- 1 1/3 c. water
- 1 can mushroom or celery soup (cream)
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 1/3 c. instant rice
- 1 c. cooked peas
- 1 (7 oz.) can tuna, drained and flaked
- 1/2 c. shredded cheese
Directions

1Combine water, soup, onion, salt and pepper in pan.

2Bring to a slow boil.

3Pour 1/3 of soup mixture into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4Layer 1/3 of rice, peas and tuna.

5Repeat 2 more times. Stir very gently.

6Sprinkle with cheese.

7Cover and bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

8Stir gently; cover and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 3 to 4 servings.
