  • 3 sticks butter or 2 sticks butter and 1 stick margarine or any combination, softened
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp. favorite extract (lemon, banana, vanilla, coconut, etc.)
  • 3/4 c. 7-Up

    Cream butter.

    Add sugar and continue to cream.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add flour.
  5. 5
    Add extract.
  6. 6
    Add 7-Up.

    Heat oven to 350°. Allow to cook for approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

    I usually use butter and margarine wrappers to grease cake pan.
