- 13 lb Turkey
- 2 liter 7UP
- 2 cup butter (melted)
- 2 tbsp Italian seasonings
- 2 tbsp garlic salt
- 2 tbsp pepper
- 1 box Stuffing
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325

2Clean turkey inside and out and pat dry

3Optionally stuff turkey if desired

4Place turkey in pan breast side up and pour 7up onto turkey until about 1 to 2 inches of 7up is on the bottom of the pan

5Pour melted butter onto turkey making sure to get the wing tips and legs as they dry out fast

6sprinkle on seasonings

7cover turkey and bake for 2 hours

8baste turkey thoroughly with juices from the pan cover and return to oven

9repeat above step every 15-20 minutes for 1 and 1/2 hours - 2 hours

10the last hour of cooking should be done without the cover to allow the skin to crisp

11after a total of 3-4 hours check the meat by slicing one of the thighs down to the bone and making sure there is no pink
