  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 fresh ripe medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped
  • 1 12-ounce can tomato paste

    Pour off most of drippings.

    Push meat aside; add onion and garlic and cook until onion is translucent.
