Abalone Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lrg Or possibly 2 sm. abalones or possibly 4 to 6 c. leftover abalone
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 c. Bread crumbs
- 1 c. Green onion, minced
- 1 can (small) Ortega green chilies, washed and diced
- 1/2 lb Cheddar cheese or possibly a mix of choice
Directions

1Tenderize abalone slices, dip in beaten Large eggs, then into bread crumbs.

2Fry abalone as usual.

3After frying place layer of abalone in a buttered casserole dish.

4Then layer of minced green onion, a layer of chili pepper and a layer of cheese.

5Repeat till dish is full.

6Top with bread crumbs and dot with butter.

7Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 min.

8I use leftover abalone it saves alot of steps and a good use for the leftovers.

9Just layer as above.
