  • 2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Boil water and margarine.

    Add flour, sugar and salt.

    In a small bowl, beat eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla.

    Add first mixture.

    Bake in greased jelly roll pan 20 minutes at 400°.
