Albacore Tuna Fettucine

Ingredients

  • 4 c fresh broccoli florets or 10 oz pkg frozen
  • 1/2 lb. fettucine
  • 1 12 1/2 ounce can solid white albacore tuna in water, drained
  • 1 c part skim ricotta cheese
  • 1/3 c Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c low fat milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In a large pot of boiling water. cook broccoli until tender-crisp.

    Remove with a slotted spoon to serving bowl.

    Add fettucine to same pot of boiling water and cook until tender. Drain and add to broccoli.

    Stir in albacore tuna.

    In same pot, combine remaining ingredients, stirring until sauce is smooth and heated through.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Pour over pasta

    mixture and toss.
