- tenderloin of deer slices
- 2 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes, mashed with juice (12 oz.)
- 1 onion
- garlic salt
- black pepper
- salt
- flour
Directions

1Tenderize slices of deer tenderloin.

2Melt shortening in frying pan.

3Dip pieces of tenderloin in seasoned flour.

4Brown quickly on each side.

5Take up and set aside.

6Drain off all shortening, except 3 tablespoons.

7Saute onions in shortening. Brown and add the Ro-Tel tomatoes, mashed.

8Add 1 cup water.

9Cook until thick.

10Add dash of hot sauce and enough catsup to color. Can place meat back in gravy or leave out.

11Serve over wild rice or biscuits.
