Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. all-bran cereal
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 yeast cakes
- 6 c. flour
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Put shortening, sugar, salt and all-bran into a bowl of boiling water.

2Stir until fat melts.

3Cool to lukewarm.

4Add well beaten eggs and yeast that has been soaked in lukewarm water until it is dissolved.

5Add flour; beat well.

6Knead real good the first time and don't knead again after it rises.

7Just punch down and place in loaf pans.

8When you let it rise the first time, brush the top with butter.

9Bake at 420° for 20 minutes until done.

10(I bake at 350°.)
