All-Purpose Yeast Dough

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 c. flour (bread flour is best)
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Put margarine, sugar and salt in work bowl.

3Pour scalded milk in bowl.

4Let cool to lukewarm.

5Add yeast; mix.

6Add egg; mix.
-
7Add flour a cup at a time and mix after each addition. Put dough into a bowl and cover; let rise.

8Shape into desired rolls.

9Let rise.
-
10Bake at 400° until nicely browned.

11This dough can be used for sweet rolls, cinnamon rolls, coffee cakes, raised doughnuts, etc.
