- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 can evaporated milk
- peach syrup-water (makes 2 c. liquid)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 can peaches
- 2 egg whites
- pinch of cream of tartar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. vanilla wafers
Directions

2Combine sugar, salt, flour and beaten egg yolks.

3Add milk-syrup mixture.

4Cook on low heat until thickened.

5Remove from heat.

6Add butter and flavor; beat until smooth.

7Alternate cookies and thin slices of peaches with pudding.
