  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 sticks oleo
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 2 tsp. water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 c. ground almonds

Directions

    Mix together, adding flour gradually, adding ground almonds fast.

    Now make loaves approximately 4 x 10-inch.

    Wrap loaves in wax paper.

    Chill overnight.

    When ready to bake, slice loaves and bake (they do swell so try a couple first), resembling a bar cookie.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

    Makes approximately 12 dozen.
