  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. almonds (slivered)
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tsp. almond flavor

Directions

    Mix all together in a bowl, flour, sugar, baking powder, almonds, eggs and oil; mix well.

    Roll in 6 strips, bake in slightly greased pan at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Brush with egg, cut while warm.
