- 1/4 c. Amaretto
- 4 oz. blanched almonds
- 2 c. heavy (whipping) cream
- 3 oz. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
Directions

1Slice pound cake into 1/4-inch slices.

2Slice each slice on the diagonal.

3Sprinkle pound cake with Amaretto.

4Arrange cake in a pinwheel design in a 1 1/2-quart mixing bowl which has been lined with plastic wrap.

5Toast almonds in 375° oven until golden brown, approximately 10 minutes.

6Cool and chop.
