- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons almond extract
- 12 cup canola oil
- 2 12 cups flour
- 2 cups whole almonds or 1 cup slivered almonds
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Mix eggs, sugar, oil& almond extract.

3Add dry ingredients.

4Stir in almonds.

5Work with hands into a large loaf.

6Divide into four parts.

7Roll each part into the diameter of a broom stick.

8Place on greased cookie sheet.

9Brush top with egg.

10Bake 25 minutes.

11Cool 10 minutes before cutting into bars.
