Almond Flatbread

  • 3/4 cup toasted almonds
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp margarine or butter, softened

    Heat oven to 400F.

    Grind nuts in a blender, watching carefully (nuts can also be finely chopped by hand).

    Mix all ingredients with a fork.

    Pinch off 1 inch balls.

    Roll each ball into a 4 inch circle on a floured surface.

    Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet until golden brown, 6 to 8 minutes.
