- 1 (1 ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup water
- 12 cup sugar
- 12 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon almond extract
- 1 (13 ounce) canfruit with syrup
Directions

1In a medium saucepan, dissolve gelatin in water.

2Place over high heat until it comes to a boil, then reduce heat to low.

3Add sugar and stir in extract; mix well.

4Pour into a deep, square pan and put in refrigerator to cool.

5When cooled, cut into cubes and serve with fruit on top.

6( If you want more syrup with the fruit, make a syrup by mixing 1 cup water, 3 Tblsp.

7sugar and 1/4 teaspoons almond extract.

8Chill.
