  • 1 1/2 qt. chicken broth with meat pieces (bouillon cubes can be added)
  • 1 c. potatoes, diced fine
  • 1 c. celery, cut fine
  • 1 c. carrots, diced fine
  • 1 small onion, cut up
  • 4 to 6 eggs, beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 loaves bread

    (If not enough broth to soak up bread, add some milk.) Pour over toasted bread. Grease roaster.

    Put dressing in and bake covered at 350° approximately 1 hour.
