  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup cream (you can add milk like i have to)
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups instant potato flakes

Directions

    saute onion in butter

    add sauerkraut you can drain it ,if thats what you do.

    saute until onion light gold

    add water.

    bring to a boil

    add potatoes.

    mix in cream to desired thickness.
