  • 4 medium tomatoes
  • 1 (2 ounce) can anchovy fillets, undrained
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • pepper
  • 1 pinch oregano (optional)

Directions

    Wash & cut tomatoes into lengthwise wedges.

    Arrange them on a small platter.

    Place 1 anchovy fillet onto each tomato section.

    Combine oil from the canned anchovies with rest of ingredients.

    Pour over tomatoes & anchovies.
