- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 6 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 c. buttermilk or 2 c. milk and 1 tsp. vinegar
- 3/4 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water and let stand 5 minutes. Combine all ingredients to form dough.

2Cover and raise 5 minutes. Then cover tightly and refrigerate for 1 hour.

3With a tablespoon form biscuits on greased baking sheet.

4Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.

5Makes 3 to 4 dozen.

6The dough will keep in refrigerator for weeks.
