- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 5 c. self-rising flour
- 3/4 c. Crisco
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Mix together yeast, sugar and lukewarm water.

2In small bowl mix self-rising flour and Crisco.

3In another bowl mix buttermilk and soda.

4Mix yeats and buttermilk mixture.

5Add flour mixture. Beat well with large spoon.

6Cover and let rise in refrigerator. Use as needed.

7(Do not knead this.)

8Dip out by tablespoon into Crisco greased muffin tins 3/4 full.

9Bake at 350° until done.
