- 1 pkg. yeast
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 5 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3 c. buttermilk
- 3/4 c. oil
Directions

1Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water.

2Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and soda.

3Add to dry ingredients the buttermilk, oil and yeast mixture.

4Roll out on floured surface and cut.

5Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.

6Use this dough for biscuits, chicken pot pies, quick cinnamon rolls, etc.

7This can be stored for a week in the refrigerator.
