- 1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients.

2Combine eggs, milk and oil.

3Mix with dry ingredients.

4Bake in greased corn stick pans at 450° for 12 to 15 minutes.

5Makes 3 dozen corn sticks.

6(Muffins or corn bread wedges will need to bake a little longer.)
