Name: Angel Hash(Salad)
Ingredients: 1 lb. can crushed pineapple, drained (save); 1 lb. can fruit cocktail, drained (save); 2 Tbsp. cornstarch; 1/4 c. sugar; 2 egg yolks, well beaten; 1 large Cool Whip; 1/4 c. chopped nuts; 2 c. miniature marshmallows

1 lb. can crushed pineapple, drained (save)
1 lb. can fruit cocktail, drained (save)
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. sugar
2 egg yolks, well beaten
1 large Cool Whip
1/4 c. chopped nuts
2 c. miniature marshmallows

Directions

Combine well beaten egg yolks with 1 cup syrup drained from fruits.

Blend well.

Add to cornstarch and sugar; mix well.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.

Cool thoroughly at room temperature.

Fold in whipped topping, nuts, marshmallows and fruits.

Chill overnight in refrigerator.
