- 7 egg whites
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. hot milk
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. salted peanuts
Directions

1Grease bottom only of pan.

2Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft mound forms.

3Add 1 cup sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.

4Set aside.

5Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder and salt; mix well.

6Add vanilla and hot milk.

7Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at medium speed.

8Pour over egg whites; by hand, fold in carefully just until well combined.

9Pour batter into pan and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes, or until top springs back.

10Cool.

11Frost and drizzle with chocolate glaze.

12Serve in squares.
