  • 3 whole chicken breasts, split and skinned
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 1/4 c. chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans diced green chiles
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. cream
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Brown chicken lightly in half the butter in skillet and season with salt and pepper.

    Place in single layer in greased 9 x 12-inch baking dish.

    Splash with 1/4 cup chicken broth.

    Cover tightly and bake in preheated 350° oven for 20 minutes.
