- 1 jar Vlasic Polish dill pickles (quart jar, No. 3)
- 1 large onion or 2 small onions
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar and add a little bit of water to just cover pickles
Directions

1Drain and throw away liquid from pickles in jar.

2Then slice the pickles thin.

3Mix the pickles, onions (sliced), sugar and vinegar.

4Put back in jar and if there is not enough liquid, add water.

5Shake well, off and on for several days and keep refrigerated.

6The longer they stand, the better they are.
