Ingredients
- 5 lb. flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/8 c. salt
- 1 cake of yeast (large)
- 5 1/4 c. water (approx) lukewarm
Directions

1With your hands, mix the yeast with the water.

2Mix the flour gradually into the water-yeast mixture. Let dough rise 1 hour, covered very well (clean towels, folded sheets).

3Divide dough into 6 balls.

4Keep dough balls covered while you are making more balls.

5Set balls on clean sheet that is covering a table.

6Let balls rest 10 mins.

7Flatten dough into circles using your finger tips.

8Work from around the outside, then down through the middle. Cover and let set 15 mins.

9Bake at 500°.

10Place on lower rack without pan.

11Bake for 3 mins. until bottom browns, turn over and bake until brown on the bottom.
