  • 5 c. flour (bread or all-purpose)
  • 1/2 c. dry milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. Crisco shortening, melted (use name brand and do not substitute oil)
  • 1 pkg. quick rise yeast
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1 pkg. (10 count) Hungry Jack flaky refrigerator biscuits
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar

Directions

    Cream together cream cheese and powdered sugar.

    Separate flaky biscuits into two layers.

    Spread small amount of cream cheese mixture on biscuits to within 1/4 inch of edge of biscuits. Press the biscuit edges together to seal.
