  • 1 box Duncan Hines spice cake mix
  • 1 large apple, grated
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (pecans or black walnuts)
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 c. 2% milk
  • 1/3 c. cooking oil

Directions

    Empty spice cake mix in bowl.

    Add apple, raisins and nuts. Coat well with mixture.

    Add egg whites, milk and cooking oil. Mix well with wooden spoon and pour into Pam-sprayed Bundt pan; bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.

    Turn on rack to cool.

    Use your favorite icing, if desired.

    Store in closed container.
