- 3 Tbsp. baking powder
- 6 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients.

2Add water (more if needed).

3Knead for 5 minutes on a floured surface.

4Divide into 16 balls.

5Roll each ball out on floured surface to about 6 to 8-inch diameter.

6Poke a hole in the middle and fry, one at a time, in 1/2-inch hot grease. Splatter hot grease on the top so it will puff up some.

7Turn over.

8Cook until both sides are golden brown.

9Top with honey, powdered sugar or like a tostada with meat, beans, lettuce, tomato and onion.
