- 2 envelopes Knox gelatine
- 1/2 c. cold applesauce
- 3/4 c. hot unsweetened applesauce
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. finely chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Soak gelatine in 1/2 cup cold applesauce for about 10 minutes. Add to hot applesauce and sugar.

2Cook over low heat, stirring until quite thick, about 20 minutes.

3Add walnuts and vanilla. Spread in a greased 8 x 8-inch pan and let stand overnight.

4Cut in squares and roll in powdered sugar.
