  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup large flake rolled oats
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh herbs (parsley, rosemary or thyme)
  • 1 Tbsp. Magic Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 cup Philadelphia Cream Cheese Product
  • 1 Honeycrisp apple, chopped
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

    Heat oven to 425 degrees F.

    Combine flour, oats, herbs, baking powder and pepper in large bowl.

    Cut in cream cheese product with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture forms coarse crumbs.

    Add apples and buttermilk; stir just until mixture forms soft dough.

    Place on lightly floured surface; knead 10 times.

    Pat into 1/2-inch-thick circle.

    Use lightly floured biscuit cutter to cut dough into 15 rounds; place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.

    Brush with egg.
