- 4 tsp Baking pwdr
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. Shortening
- 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 c. Raisins minced
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 x Egg well beaten
- 2 Tbsp. Butter melted
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
Directions

1Yield: 8 servings

2Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking pwdr, salt, and sugar.

3Cut in shortening and add in raisins.

4Add in sufficient lowfat milk to that egg has been added to make a stiff dough.

5Mix thoroughly.

6Pour into well-oiled shallow pan.

7Brush dough with melted butter.

8Pare, quarter, and core apples and cut in thin slices.

9Arrange in rows in the dough, allowing edges to overlap.

10Brush apples with more melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar that have been mixed together.
