- 8 c. cooked apples
- 4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
Directions

1Put cooked apples (prepared by slicing, peeling and cooking on low with a small amount of water until tender), sugar and vinegar in slow cooker (crock-pot). Cover and cook mixture 12 hours on low.

2Add spices and cook for 3 hours on high without lid or until mixture becomes a spreading consistency.

3Fill refrigerator containers or put into sterilized jar and seal with a canner.
