- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 6 c. toasted bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. chopped almonds
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 2 c. sliced, peeled apple
- 1/2 c. Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
Directions

1In saucepan, combine soup, milk, brown sugar and cinnamon. Bring to boil; reduce heat.

2Simmer 2 minutes to blend flavors. Add butter, toast, almonds and raisins.

3Spoon 1/2 of soup mixture in bottom of 1 1/2-quart casserole; top with apples and remaining toast mixture.

4Cover; bake at 350° for 25 minutes, or until hot. Uncover; sprinkle with cheese.

5Bake 5 minutes more.

6Serve with whipped cream.
