  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. liquid shortening
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. orange juice
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 5 large tart apples, diced

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix well first 7 ingredients.
  2. 2
    Grease and flour Bundt pan. Put 1/2 the batter into pan.
  3. 3
    Sprinkle apples with sugar and cinnamon.
  4. 4
    Put 1/2 the apples on top of butter and then put rest of batter on top of apples.
  5. 5
    Top with rest of apples and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
