  • 6 c. peeled, sliced apples
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed firmly
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1/3 c. soft butter/margarine
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

    Preheat oven to 375°. Spread the apple slices in an 8-inch square cooking pan.

    Sprinkle lemon juice and water over the apples.

    Stir together the rest of the ingredients.
