  • 1 c. oatmeal
  • 1/2 lb. oleo
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • cooking apples, sliced

Directions

    Slice apples into an 8 x 8-inch cake pan until it is at least half filled.

    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Melt oleo. Add oats, brown sugar and flour. Spread over apples. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until golden brown. This is best with fresh apples but can also be used with frozen apples.
