- 7 tart apples
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Peel the apples and cut into thin slices.

3Place apple slices in ungreased ovenproof dish (pie plate works well).

4Put the remaining ingredients into a bowl and mix with a pastry blender until dry ingredients are somewhat blended and margarine is in small pieces.

5Spread the topping over the apples and bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
