  • 6 to 7 cooking apples
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. unsalted butter or margarine

    Peel, core and slice apples.

    Place half the slices in a 9-inch square pan.

    Sprinkle with half the lemon juice.

    Combine remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
