- 4 c. sliced, pared baking apples (about 4 medium apples)
- 2/3 to 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. regular oats
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/3 c. margarine or butter, softened
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Grease baking pan (8 x 8 x 2-inch). Arrange apples in pan.

3Mix remaining ingredients with fork. Sprinkle over apples.

4Bake until apples are tender and topping is golden brown, about 30 minutes.

5Serve with cream or ice cream if desired.
