- ladyfingers or sponge cake
- jam (flavor of choice)
- Jell-O (flavor of choice)
- canned or fresh fruit
- custard
- La Creme or very thick whipped cream
Directions

1Break up the sponge cake or ladyfingers and spread with jam. Place in the bottom of glass dish (large).

2Arrange fruit on top of sponge cake; set aside.

3Make Jell-O; allow to cool a little, not yet firm, then spoon gently over sponge cake so that the Jell-O penetrates the sponge cake.

4Put dish into the refrigerator; Jell-O needs to be set firm.

5Meanwhile, make custard; allow to cool but not set, then spoon over the already set Jell-O.

6Just before serving, spoon over the set custard the La Creme or whipped cream and decorate.
