- 4 to 6 apples
- 1 c. sugar, divided
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Peel and slice apples into pie shell; sprinkle with 1/2 cup of sugar mixed with cinnamon.

2Mix remaining 1/2 cup of sugar with flour.

3Cut in butter until crumbly.

4Sprinkle over apples.

5Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

6Reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
