  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. flour
  • 4 apples, diced
  • 1 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder

    Cream oleo, sugar and egg together.

    Sift dry ingredients together and add nuts and apples.

    Mix all together, not with electric beater.

    Place in a lightly greased 9 x 9-inch pan.

    Bake in a preheated 350° oven for about 35 minutes.
