  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. applesauce or apple butter
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar

    Beat eggs, add applesauce or apple butter and vinegar. Sweeten to taste.

    Use whites of eggs for meringue top.

    Custard may be cooked with the crust.
