- apple pie filling
- crescent roll dough
- 1 1/4 c. hot apple juice or water
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Unroll crescent dough and separate at rectangle markings. Spoon pie filling equally on the dough.

2Fold and press to seal. Place in 9 x 11 x 2-inch cake pan.

3Mix hot apple juice or water with sugar and lemon juice.

4Pour into pan around dumplings.

5Bake in moderate oven at 325° for 25 minutes.

6If not browned, use broiler to brown.

7Serve warm with remaining syrup or maple syrup.
