- 1 Pillsbury Plus chocolate cake mix, mixed according to directions
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 stick butter
- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
- 1/2 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- chocolate frosting
- 1 c. nuts
Directions

1Mix cake mix according to directions.

2Spread half in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Melt 1 stick of butter and 1/2 can of Eagle Brand milk; pour over batter.

4Bake cake at 350° for 30 minutes.

5Melt 1 stick of butter and the Kraft caramels.

6Stir in 1/2 can Eagle Brand milk.

7Spread over warm cake, top with 1 cup chopped pecans. Pour remaining batter over cake.

8Bake about 15 to 20 minutes (don't overbake).

9Top with chocolate frosting and sprinkle with 1 cup nuts.

10Chill before serving.
