  • 6 medium tart cooking apples
  • 6 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 6 tsp. oleo
  • cinnamon
  • 6 (7-inch) squares pastry

Directions

    Peel and core apples.

    Place on center of pastry square. Place 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 teaspoon oleo in each apple. Sprinkle each apple with cinnamon.

    Bring opposite points of pastry up over apple.

    Overlap; moisten and seal.

    Carefully place a few inches apart in baking dish.

    Bake in preheated oven at 350° for approximately 1 hour or until well browned.

    Serve warm with cream, if desired.
